I work for the new gTLD registry Donuts Inc.: http://donuts.domains. Formerly worked for ICANN, the global regulator of the domain name industry.
I am here to learn from the Twitter Developer community and (hopefully) help promote the Universal Acceptance of domain names and email addresses, which means that all apps and online services should Accept, Store, Validate, Process, and Display all Internet domain names and email addresses equally.
In my current role I actively participate in ICANN's Universal Acceptance Steering Group (more information here: https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=47255444).
