I want to use Twitter API Academic Research but I can’t.
I’m sure I meet the requirements to use it.
I’m a master’s student in Tokyo, doing research related to Twitter.
I have provided the URL of my university and laboratory, as well as the URL of the website where my own paper was published.
I’ve provided the information you need, and I’m sure it’s in line with your philosophy, so I can’t see any reason why the use of an academic API should be denied.
Therefore, I would like to use the academic API instead of the regular API.
I’ve seen other masters students get rejected too, maybe a better approach will be to coordinate with your supervisor, and get them to apply for an account, and give you the Keys / Tokens you need to develop instead, i collected some notes that may help here: Twitter Developer Access - twarc
