You need to reapply for a Twitter card

I just received a “You need to reapply for a Twitter card” message with the following explanation:

The URL you provided for thesurfnetwork.com to use the player card did not validate. Please make sure the page contains valid metadata, then reapply for a Twitter card.

The player card validated in the validator prior to me submitting it for approval it validates now again. Here is a url to validate against.

It’s possible I’m missing something, but I would assume if the validator shows GREEN for all the required tags that means it validates… Or am I missing something? The original request for approval was submitted 9 weeks ago, so the delay with zero real description as to why the card was not approved really irks me. Could someone from Twitter provide some insight…

We were able to get this resolved today by opening a support ticket with twitter.

The reason our player was not initially approved stemmed from a display click issue on our video player that redirected to our website, once we knew that was the issue, simply disabled that functionality and after they confirmed our card was approved and our domain whitelisted.

Ah right

i have a similar click on the logo that takes the user back to our website i will disable this and see what happens.
