Thanks for the tip @UAlanbari, but I don’t see any button/option on the app where I can tap to create my app. Im using an iPad.
Can you explain a bit more where did you go to do this?

Sorry I did not explain well, when you login in Twitter app go to your browser and enter again to create your app in apps.twitter.com. With this Twitter don´t ask for mobile number phone.

What would be the best thing to do using the (Japanese) feature phone?

We have android/apple phone only 25% in japan!!

This is a terrible policy. If you’re going to require a mobile phone number to create an application, you must allow us to enter our mobile phone numbers. I’m very frustrated here.

I have the same problem with Orange and Telefonica in Spain. I do not understand that it is not possible to register an application with a mobile phone in Spain. This policy is absurd and it is causing many problems to developers.

My company is losing money because of this problem!!
