Yet Another WARN: No Metatags Found Post

Apologies, but after researching I still can’t seem to find the answer to this particular problem.

I’m getting a WARN: No Metatags Found error when I run https://marketingexperiments.com through the validator. Tags are there, and Content-Type is text/html as it should be.

Any idea what’s going on here? Thanks.

When our crawler hits your site it receives an HTTP 404 error. This does not happen from my local machine, so my theory is that there may be some IP filtering in place in your host. Please check that Twitter’s IP range is not being blocked or refused content.

Thanks for the response and thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It was not an IP range issue, but apparently the header length that the request makes was above the set length limit on our servers.

Ah, interesting to know that other things can cause that error - I’ll make a note for the future!
