Hi. I keep getting “your media file could not be processed” message when uploading video from web. The video is created with ffmpeg. I have tried various options but without success so far.

Currently i use
ffmpeg -i source.mkv -c:a libfdk_aac -b:a 128k -c:v libx264 -profile:v main -level 3.1 -preset:v slow -r 30 -map_metadata -1 -f mp4 output.mp4

Here is output of mediainfo:

It seems that Twitter doesn’t like chapter info in uploaded file.

Upload works after
ffmpeg -i output.mp4 -c:v copy -c:a copy -map_chapters -1 output2.mp4

ffmpeg info diff on these files
< [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x7f8fce805800] Referenced QT chapter track not found
< Duration: 00:00:56.54, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 1242 kb/s
< Chapter #0:0: start 0.000000, end 56.543000
< Metadata:
< title :

Gonna test a bit more with other sources.

Can this chapter thing be patched on Twitter side?

Interesting. Thanks for debugging this. I’ll definitely ask the media platform team if this is a known issue.
