I am attempting to update some urls for our cards leveraging the twitter ads API.
However I receive a permissions error when attempting to modify anything in our ad account. I took a quick look at the developer forms (here and here) and from what I understand is that the app needs to be white-listed in order to write (perform PUT & POST commands) to the ads API. We’d like to white list the app with id: 147169
Let me know if you need more details or if there’s a self-serve method to get the write permissions to the Ads API. Thank you in advance!
Hi @etavares,
I believe you haven’t applied for Ads API access yet - can you accept the terms here? Twitter Ads API Documentation | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform
Best,

Hello Carmen,
Thanks for your advice, that was my original idea however, this statement on the application for the app:
You should only fill this form out once per company (unless initially filled out prior to 8/1/2018), and authenticate accounts into the whitelisted application. Reach out to adsapi-program@twitter.com for any questions/issues.
leads me to believe that I should not create a new app with the ad reads permission selected and instead someone who is able to change this permission should do so from Twitter’s end?
Let me know if I am misunderstanding this warning and if creating a new app would be the best way to go. Thanks!
