I have recently applied for Elevated access for my Twitter developer account. I have realized I actually needed academic research access since I need full archive access. There is no option to withdraw an existing pending application and I cannot submit a new application since my elevated access application is pending. So I am rendered stuck by the technicalities of the portal.
I am doing an academic research project with a deadline so such bureaucratic issues feel like intellectual red tape.
What can I do? I have been waiting for the application to be approved or not for two weeks. As a master’s student I do not have time to wait for such decisions. This is causing me severe stress.

it doesn’t, because I have an existing pending application and developers are not allowed to have two pending applications at a time. For some reason

Ah ok - yeah, i guess the only other way to get in touch with twitter, other than this forum, is using Other question form
