Will twitter cards be available via API?

WIll you be extending the REST API to include the posting of extended tweets and/or cards? This would be a huge help for 3rd party apps that post on behalf of businesses that are slow to add things like ‘meta tags’.

There are no plans currently to include data related to cards in the API.
