App Name: Twittly
App Logo: http://i.imgur.com/klB7TAU.png

I bought this logo here: https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/109642/bird_blog_pictogram_raw_simple_social_media_social_network_tweet_twitter_bird_weblog_icon

The logo is a complete different logo than the original, it’s not an altered version of the Original Twitter Logo.

App Icon/Logo Rules of Twitter:

Don’t

Use speech bubbles or words around the bird
Rotate or change the direction of the bird
Animate the bird
Flock the bird with other birds or other creatures
Change the color of the bird
Overprint or obstruct any part of the bird
Anthropomorphize the bird
Add special effects to the bird
Use old versions or any other marks or logos to represent our brand

Name Rules of Twitter:

Don’t

Use Twitter in the name of your website, application or product.
Use just “Tweet” or “Tweet” with a simple letter or number combination (for example, 1Tweet, Tweet, Tweets).
Register a domain containing “twitter”, misspellings, transliterations or similar variations thereof.
Apply for a trademark with a name including “Twitter”, “Tweet”, the Twitter bird, transliterations or similar variations thereof.
Use “Tweet” in the name of your application if used with any other service.

Twitter accepted these apps TweetBot, Tweetium, Tweetro, Tweetcaster, Tweetio, and more. and is in store.

Can someone please confirm if the Name “Twittly” or Logo violates the rules please?

Thank you.

@NemOry Unfortunately we don’t allow developers to incorporate terms similar to our trademarks in their app names. “You may not use Twitter Marks as part of the name of your company or Service, or in any product, service, name field or logos created by you.” So, Twittly wouldn’t conform to our guidelines. We also suggest branding that is unique and separate from Twitter. Happy to discuss in more detail off of the forums.
