Will the Streaming API endpoint: statuses/filter be Deprecated too?

Im using a nodejs library that utilizes the ‘statuses/filter’ endpoint for listening to Tweets with certain hashtag.

Will this endpoint feature going to be deprecated as well?

There are longer-term plans to replace this with something much more powerful in the future, but no dates have been set and you’re perfectly free to use statuses/filter in the meantime.
