Will Status Lookup endpoint gives results for very first tweet in Twitter?

Will the statuses/lookup.json endpoint can be able to fetch all the tweets right from the first tweet that has been posted in the Twitter.?

Tell me if it has any limitations .

For eg: only last 1 year tweets archive only is avaialble for lookup.json endpoint to give the results or something more.

Yes, statuses/lookup can retrieve the very first Tweet posted on Twitter (Tweet ID 20 is the first Tweet, try it for yourself).

The only limitations are that deleted or protected Tweets are not accessible.
