Widget click binding/ event firing seems to be broken

widgetsjs
events

Hi,

Was there a new release of the twitter widgets on Monday? We have code that binds the click event on the widget but since Monday the event doesn’t seem to be firing at all. (Chrome 40)

Anyone else having a similar problem?

Edit:
Sample: http://jsbin.com/bodevuxusi/edit?html,js,console,output
The binding itself seems to work, as if you poke the it (twttr.events.trigger(‘click’) on correct iFrame in console) the event fires and “clicked” is logged out. However, if you click the button, the logging isn’t displayed.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi… the issue has not been solved yet, is true?

Thanks

Great, thanks Jake. Any idea when a fix will be released?

There’s a good chance will go out tomorrow. I’ll circle back and provide an update once that’s certain.

This should be fixed now. Let us know if the problem persists.
