Why won't my apps delete?

I create an app, delete it, it says it has deleted and yet it is still there and stopping me to from creating a new app with the same name. Does anyone know why that should be happening? “Delete” should mean just that: delete, move on, forget it ever happened…

I’ve been having the same problem and I’ve looked everywhere in discussions for a solution. In one thread a Twitter person said hit delete and wait 24 hours. I’ve been doing this for two days now.
