Hi all! I have a problem with an email I received, It is very confusing considering that I already received an eMail stating “Your Twitter developer account application has been approved!”
I tried applying for an accademic account as the first draft of my thesis was intended to be based on older tweets from 2020 but though I tried to be as precise as possible my application was not approved. Which brings me here. I changed the topic of my thesis a bit so it would not rely on older tweets. However now I get this eMail:
"Hello,
This is a reminder that we still need more information to process your application for a Twitter developer account. Please respond to our previous email with all requested information within the next 7 days.
Please note, your application request will be permanently closed if you do not respond by that time.
Thank you for your interest in building on Twitter."
My account has already been approved. My application for an academic account has not been approved but why will my developer account be closed when it has already been approved?
Also, I can’t find the previous email that they are talking about… or any eMail I can respond to as the developer-accounts@twitter.com address refers you to “our forums at TwitterCommunity[dot]com”
Any idea where I should go to get it fixed? I just want to work on my thesis.
