Why is 1.0's Request URI example label mentioned in 1.1's Test-OAuth/Request URI label?

#1

I went on and registered a new application and then clicked the Test OAuth on the application’s ‘manage’ webpage (that show’s the details of that application)

And then I created new access tokens and went on to fill the Request URI as per the example label shown below the form fill-up box.
It says:
The full URI, without parameters. For example: https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/home_timeline.json

When I execute the curl command in the example generated, it gives the following error:
{“errors”:[{“message”:“The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.","code”:64}]}

So I check online and the solution says, use:
https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json
…in Request URI

So why isn’t the page updated yet?
PS: the link says {“errors”:[{“code”:25,“message”:“Query parameters are missing.”}]} on being tested, but atleast the old depricated API error message is gone!
