My app can download images of hashtags, taking #vacation as example the query for that would be (for the first 100 tweets) https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json?q=%23vacation&count=100 However this page: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23vacation&mode=media shows other images than my app.
There are some images that aren’t shown on the photos tab such as: https://twitter.com/inkspotts/status/365806110101352448 and some that my app doesn’t show such as: https://twitter.com/caputmundicibus/statuses/365600428538335233
I first thought it was a matter of the result_type but it’s the same for all three that are listed here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/search/tweets
So as it’s saying “Valid values include(!) […]” is there maybe some other result_type ? Or any other ideas what’s causing this discrepancy ?
Noone has any idea for this ? I probably should add that result_type:popular doesn’t provide any results and the mixed&recent provide roughly the same amount of pictures though mostly different ones.
