Whitelist Request Rejected

Hi,

Im trying to validate my card but always have the message:

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 25 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary_large_image tag found
WARN: Not whitelisted

and then “whitelist request for summary_large_image card was rejected XX hours ago”

I’d suggest requesting approval again and ensuring that your details are all correct when you fill out the details. Also re-check your meta tags.

Check the docs. You should use twitter:img rather than twitter:img:src but you don’t need either of them if you use og:image anyway.

twitter:image

URL to a unique image representing the content of the page. Do not use a generic image such as your website logo, author photo, or other image that spans multiple pages. Images for this Card should be at least 280px in width, and at least 150px in height. Image must be less than 1MB in size.

Your image is 139x91 which is too small.

and Im trying to validate using twitter:img twitter:img:src and only og:image but I have the same problem

I have a similar problem for a summary card.

But the twitter card validator keeps rejecting it.

I have the same problem to get whitelisting for my large_summary_image card.
The card tags seems OK, the card show up correctly in Validator and I get no error.

The doc use alernatively twitter:img:src and twitter:img. Do I have to change my tag to twitter:img ?
We don’t have robots.txt, is it a problem for your crawler ?
In the details form, what could be “incorrect” ?

I cannot see what the issue is here. Your card validates fine so I don’t know why the whitelisting process is rejecting it at the moment.

We already got a whitelisting for a summary card on an other subdomain (http://blog.yooda.com). Could it interfere ?

What can I do next ?

It shouldn’t interfere as far as I know. You can try resubmitting. I’ll see if a cards specialist can take a look at this too.

Someone suggested me on… Twitter that our image must have an .png/.jpg file extension (wich as not actually).
I’ll ask for this change, resubmit and keep you updated.

We added the .png extension to image URL, asked for approval again, but still rejected.
Is there anybody to take a look at this case ?

http://static1.squarespace.com

Which unfortunately does not have a robots.txt. Or it is not serving one to the TwitterBot. That’s not a domain under your control, so your options are limited. If you can, try hosting your images at another URL.

Hello, I have the same problem. Any time I try to validate the URL it’s shows the card normally on the right side but it’s rejects. What is wrong in my meta-tags?

I have the same problem here. Validation tool works perfectly, but my page get’s rejected on the meta data and I cannot discover what’s wrong.
