Do you know the ticket number? I can look into the status.

Hi @jessicagarson , that’s the question :joy:
I submitted the ticket but there’s no way to find out my ticket number.

You should have received an email, that does sometimes end up the spam. What exactly was the issue, was it related to the API?

Hi @jessicagarson I’m actually having the same issue, and can confirm that while the UI in the developer portal indicates I was sent an email when my project (App ID 20167427) was switched to limited access, and again mentioned I would get an email when I submitted a support ticket, it has been more than two weeks and I have received no emails about either of those actions (I’ve checked spam, and I have successfully received other Twitter emails for this account to the same email address).

It seems like something may be amiss with these email alerts? And just as with the poster here, it also means I don’t have any ticket number I can use for follow-ups or to ensure my appeal is actually in the queue.

Thanks, @PersevereImgBot. I can look into what’s happening in your case and get back to you once I hear further.

Thanks, I’d really appreciate that @jessicagarson!

Hi @jessicagarson we had the same issue with @PersevereImgBot
There was no email about the limitation or recovery, even the submitted support ticket.

Same issue here. I submitted the ticket and it immediately took me to the previous screen without any message or error. No email in spam folder. No idea what my ticket number was.

Same issue here! My app has been limited and I didn’t receive any email. I submitted a ticket and also didn’t receive any email or response.

Thanks for all the responses here. Before I can investigate further, I’ll need some more information from you.

  • Were these API-related issues?
  • I’ll also need to know the @handle and to know a bit about the issue at hand.

Thanks again!

Hi @jessicagarson, it doesn’t seem like an API issue, but something wrong with our app.

We just see a warning in the developer portal, said that the app got limited due to some policy issue. The warning mentioned about “you should receive an email before this happens”, but nobody received such an email.

In my case, the limitation auto-canceled the next day.

Hi @jessicagarson. I get this message in the developer portal. It’s been maybe 3 weeks.

My app id: 19679958
Twitter profile: @sublliure

I have not received any email at all. Even after submitting a support ticket.

Thanks

@rakutenUPC @joeyck Thanks for providing more details. I followed up on both of your cases, and I’ll let you know when I hear further.

@rakutenUPC What @handle is this in reference to? Also, do you have a screenshot you can provide?

Hi @jessicagarson please correct me if I misunderstood the meaning of @handle

If you are asking how we solve the issue, I am sorry we did nothing but wait.
Regarding the screenshot, let me confirm with my team if they kept any. Actually, we saw exactly the same as @joeyck posted.

@joyck I just sent you an DM with some further information about what may be happening.

@rakutenUPC, by @handle, I’m looking for the handle that is associated with the developer account which you are having an issue with.
