I’m about to start building a web application that requires the ingesting of tweets matching certain search criteria. It is conceivable that the number of queries the application would perform against Twitter would be high (maybe every 15 seconds) to reflect near-real-time tweets and the system will store tweets over a 24 hour period for aggregation and data representation.
I’d like to learn more about what options I have for creating an account to retrieve tweets from Twitter and ensuring that the method I use won’t result in getting black-listed because of the frequency. I see that some setups allow for up to 350 queries / hour - can I achieve that if the web application daemon is what’s doing the queries rather than a user that is logged in?
Thanks for your help!
