Hey Twtter, the goal of a software company should be to make things easier and easier, always creating new features too. Not to make things harder, less accessible, or remove useful features. Public timelines via RSS feeds were a great idea. I was allowed to follow tweets through any feed reader, associate triggers and actions to them through IFTTT, have them always on my home page, since RSS feeds are exportable nearly anywhere. Now you dropped the RSS support in the API 1.1, if not using external tools, and you always require OAuth authentication, even though public timelines SHOULD NOT NEED IT. Can you explain me please why the hell you did this?
