The documentation for the Sampled Stream says it pipes around 1% of all tweets. Is there some overriding scope that applies?
For example, will it only show tweets that apply to some particular region (perhaps the region of the account that owns the project), or will it draw from all locations around the globe, in any language?
As far as I know, the way it samples is that it looks at the milliseconds field in a tweet timestamp and selects a portion of tweets that are posted within that time window.
