What is the GET statuses/user_timeline rate limit for a Premium account?

We have been approved for a Premium account and we need to know what is the increased rate limit on a Premium account for GET statuses/user_timeline - this is listed as 1500 calls per 15 minutes on a Standard account.

Although we have been approved for Premium we are still seeing a 1500 rate limit here on this call.

What must we do to increase this limit? How do we get it to 3000?

Is it as simple as paying the monthly fee and generating a new app (secret/key)?

We need to project out costs for the future.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but it seems you are using the wrong API here.
statuses/user_timeline is meant to check an individual user’s tweets, 3000/15 minutes means you can check more than 3 times per second. It also allows 900 per authenticated user, so you can check each user’s timeline using their own token (that’s 1 call per second, nobody can tweet faster than this)

The premium account gives you better access to the search API, which I am guessing is what you need to use instead of this API

Yes we have one app checking user timelines for Tweets. Currently we are limited to staying within the 1500 / 15 minute rate limit.

Does Premium increase this rate limit?

Hi there - Premium APIs refer to a set of packaged API families (e.g. Search) for greater data access.

There is no premium API for timelines and access to premium APIs does not change the rate limit on the standard APIs.
