What is the authentication flow to be able to use the endpoint "account/verify_credentials.json"?

I am integrating twitter authentication in my app to be able to get user’s twitter profile info using the endpoint “account/verify_credentials.json”.

What I have done so far to authenticate the user is:
1- /oauth/request_token to get a token for the redirect URL where the user inputs twitter credientials
2- /oauth/authorize used to access the redirect URL
3- /oauth/access_token get user access token and his username

Now when I try to call the endpoint “account/verify_credentials.json”, I get an error:
“code”:32,“message”:“Could not authenticate you.”

Did I miss understand something ?

That looks like the correct flow. Make sure you use the access token and secret you get from /oauth/access_token when you make the account/verify_credentials.json request.
