What causes the bot to reject messages?

I am seeing this message when I post a message that looks similar to this:
“2018-18699 : Client Service Speciali” (this is a job number and a title that is cut off because of the char limit)

This is likely because you are delivering too many DMs that are very similar in nature. I encourage you to try to personalize the DMs more than you currently are.

We are seeing the same issue, but our response to DMs is a series of survey questions. These can’t be varied, what should we do? We’ve been blocked even though we’re just testing manually by hand so the volume is very low.

First off, if your permission levels were automatically adjusted due to this spammy behavior, you will have to reach out to https://help.twitter.com/forms/platform to be able to adjust this permission back.

Unfortunately our system is not build to support this use case. You could try varying the questions until it works, but it will probably be better to host the survey off-platform.
