I’m working on a book on the Search API, and I’d like to report on the official limits. Traditionally the search API returned up to 1,500 tweets going back 5-7 days. Since about May of this year I have been able to retrieve up to 10,000 tweets going back years. I see that the stated limits have been removed from the docs at dev.twitter.com, although I did find one mention that it goes back 6-9 days.
Is Twitter willing to state a new set of limits?
