I can get the timeline to appear in my preview screen on blogger, but as soon as I sign out and view the blog it disappears and reverts to the tweets by…Please help! Thanks.

Go to your settings and uncheck ‘protect my tweets’ I did this and it started to work.

Same issue with Wordpress. Preview while logged in, feed appears. Log out and check the site, only the link.

This issue is certainly not “resolved” and I’d really like to hear some feedback from twitter. I’m developing a site in Muse and I just get the link, not the timeline. I’d really like someone from Twitter to answer, even to say, “We don’t know, but are working on it”. I’m in a time crunch with this site and it’s making me look like an ass to blame the problem on Twitter. My client is like, “Yeah, right.” I can’t believe they disabled 3rd party widgets and give us this broken product in return. Sooooooo HELLO, TWITTER???

I read few articles saying that few methods/URLs of .rss or json getting depricated by March 2013. Please provide me a right direction.

@twitterapi @jasoncosta please update us on the issue - it is most certainly not resolved. I’m using Saxotech to pull a list widget into a blog post for this afternoon, and only the link is coming up. Please advise what we can do on our end, or what you are doing on your end, to resolve the issue.

I am having issues with the embedded timeline. All I get is one line of text “Tweets by …” Please assist, issue not resolved. Is there new coding that I should be using? I have tried many variations to try to fix it, it used to work great but not now. Also on your instructions of the install page there is conflicting maximum height dimensions of 600 & 520. Which is it?

I got a reply on this issue, and it must not have posted to this particular discussion. I resolved this issue by the instructions given to me by doing the following…

In Twitter settings for your widget you must put both options for your URL

www.yoursite.com
yoursite.com

separate them with comma www.yoursite.com, yoursite.com then save*
If you have two websites you must enter them both in the same way seperated by comma 2 of the different ways for a total of 4 entries…

This has worked for me well for the last three days consecutively with no interruptions. Before, it might just work for a day at the most when only putting one or the other configuration. Try this

You are the man!! thanks…now is showing the timeline in Firefox & Safari but not in Iweb. Just the Blue letters. Anyway,thanks for this. It’s incredible how a so simple trick is actually the problem. I remember when you are just doing the widget Twitter puts an example showing the commas.

We followed this post and it seems to be working. We have three domain names pointing to the same site. They all had to be added to make it work since some of the pages are listed under different domain names in different parts of the website.

I am still facing this problem. I also tried inserting the links like they told (www.tessapersijn.nl, tessapersijn.nl) but it is nog working for me at all!
I am putting up my website with Dreamweaver. Does that matter?

I hope someone have some more tips and tricks for me!

Have you tried to clear your cashe as well as browser history? I have been told also that if you have malware or an infection that is not totally obvious on your computer it may interfere with communication of different types of widgets or plugin; in other words it may work on another PC, and you wouldn’t understand why. Try doing it in another browser as well as running malwarebytes, making sure you turn off any other security software like norton, McAffee etc., you may even be able to get by, by just running CCleaner as well and see if that works All are free options that can be uninstalled if you feel did not work. Hope something works… I Know the feeling
