Weird card behaviour on wordpress

Hello there!

i’ve been starting a blog about criptocurrencies and i’ve been stumped by a weird behaviour:

• If i use the official wordpress plugin, i’m able to properly embed tweets in my posts, but the card is created with a “summary” tag instead of “large_image”, so the preview on twitter is awful (sorry).
• if i use another plugin, i’m able to create the “large image” preview, but the embed is lost because the theme i’m using “rewrite” the blockquote tag used to embed the tweet, which is stilish but it’s missing the rich card effect of the tweet.
