Hi, I am facing 2 critical issues
My friend and I applied for twitter api. We filled the application.
1.)We both got first mail:- “Verify Your Email address for Twitter developer account”. We both verified it
2.)Now difference arises between us. He got 2nd mail.Its subject was “developers-accounts” and inside it it was written that “We have received your application for a twitter developer account,and we are starting our review”. But alas,I did not got any mail
3.)Then after 2 hours he gets another mail,stating that his developer account is approved. Naturally I didn’t got this mail as I had not got 2nd mail itself
And issue does not ends here(BTW He is happily using the API). But when I went to my developer account, I was able to make a project.I was able to get api_key,api_secret,access_token,access_token_secret.I even tried to make a tweet using api and I was successful
Now my issue and doubts:-
1.) Why didn’t I got my mail ? did I missed a step? Please tell me
2.) When I did not got any email saying that I have got access to developer account,still I was having access to keys(And they were working fine too)How? I mean I was expecting something like “YOU CAN’T USE API.WAIT FOR THE MAIL” on visiting the api website.Why? Is there some limitations on my api keys and code which are not there in my friend’s account? (Also I tally EVERYTHING and EVERY available options in my friend developer and my developer account.Neither I did not found any difference nor there was any message stating that my developer account is still not verified). Please clear my doubt
Also is tthere any way to check whether my twitter api is verified or not?
I heard others complaining about missed emails too - sounds like it’s a problem on their end. If you have the ability to create an app and modify app settings and view keys, and make calls etc then your developer account is active.

Thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that you are in fact approved for access, but I have looped other team members in here to investigate why you never got the email from us telling us this is the case.

And I can very easily assure you that I have checked every section of email (like spam, bin etc) just in case if I itself accidentally deleted it.
But na, I really didn’t got any mail. Try to figure out the issue as soon as possible
