Web Intents Events / tweet method

#1

Hi,

I’m using a web Web Intents Javascript Events. favorite, retweet and follow methods is OK but tweet method is data response null.

twttr.events.bind(‘tweet’, function(event) {
// event.data is null :frowning:
});

It is a bug?

Thank you!

This event just does not contain data that would personally identify the tweeter – in this callback only the fact that it happened and which DOM elements were involved can be derived.

Thank you. How do I get sent tweet of ID?

You can’t – without a user’s explicit authorization, you’ve no right to know their identity nor the tweet they issues in context to their visit on your site. However, there are other means in the API to obtain tweets mentioning your domain or a specific URL (like the search and streaming APIs)
