Hi!

I was running a php store script for a long time with no problem at all, and all of sudden i got an strange massage on my home page regarding something about twitter. I’m a totally silly person on these types of languages and so on, i just understand that everything was right and i made no changes whatsoever in the files and now i got this ugly 3 lines warning on my page. Would someone please give me any advise on what would be going wrong here?

I`m still confused… will i be able to solve this error by editing this line code from my script: $url = ‘http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/’.$f[‘variableval’].’.rss?count=5’;

?

If yes, would you guide me telling where to change?

In the short-term, if you modify your script like so:

$url = 'https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline/'.$f['variableval'].'.rss?count=5';

You’ll be back in business. However, RSS-based URLs are now deprecated and will cease functioning in March 2013. You’ll need to move to a different solution entirely before that time.

[node:10248] is the lowest-barrier-to-entry offering we have for that future. Beyond that, you’ll need to use a server-side programming language to leverage OAuth when making timeline requests – I recommend tmhOAuth https://github.com/themattharris/tmhOAuth – likely a [node:124].

As i said it worked yesterday, but today i have again another error at the top of my home page: www.jmuller777.com

On v1 methods, HTTP 400 typically means you’re being rate limited – you can only request v1 API urls 150 times per IP address with unauthenticated requests per hour. Either adjust the number of times you request this URL to stay within those limits or leverage OAuth authentication so that you can be more certain of 350 requests per hour. If you decide to leverage OAuth, you should also just move over to API v1.1.

I am having an issue with no tweet showing on webpage.(http://wyan.suffolk.lib.ny.us/index.htm) for some reason I am now getting a “Twitter Offline” message in the twitter box.
I am using the codes “html://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/MYUSERNAME.json?callback=twitterCallback2&count=1”
