I tried to validate my post but was unsuccessful:

Please check our troubleshooting post carefully. You have just one twitter related meta tag on your page, twitter:description, and it does not contain useful content. You also need at least a valid twitter:card type, and other relevant tags.

Hi Andy,
Sorry I’ve temporarily deactivated the plugin which adds the other meta for Twitter card.which for some reason didn’t include the description meta so I’ve added it manually. I’ve now added a function to my function.php which includes all the meta but still when I share from the post no card appears. Could you please advice, thank you

The validator provides the clue here:

INFO:  Page fetched successfully
INFO:  25 metatags were found
INFO:  twitter:card = summary tag found
ERROR: Invalid value (message: Field description failed to validate because: text expects tag property, but not found in Map().)

In this case, you no longer have a twitter:description field, and that is a required property.

Hi Andy, thanks for your swift reply.

I’ve added the description meta and the validation has no issue,
but still I can’t pull image/description ecc and preview a twitter card when sharing.

That’s correct, the share pop-up does not display the image and card, just the link. When the Tweet is posted, the card should appear.
