Hello,

I applied for twitter api a week ago and still haven’t received a response. How long does it usually take to process an application? I would really like the application to be considered not too long, this is important for my research project

However, you may experience a slightly longer than usual wait for application decisions due to initial applications’ volume. Hi @jessicagarson,

I made my application on the 27th of January and I still haven’t had an answer. I received an email from developer-accounts (developer-accounts@twitter.com) on the 8th of February asking me to provide more information about my application. I answered the email on the same day. On the 18th of February I received an email from Twitter Support (support@twitter.com) saying that I needed to answer Twitter’s previous email to provide information, otherwise my application would close in 7 days.
I resent the email with the information on the same day. Could you confirm that this has been received? I am starting to worry as my application might close in 3 days.

@SofiaPinto I checked in with the team. We asked for more information on 2/8, which means that your account and you replied. I confirmed your account wouldn’t get closed as stated in the email after the 18th. You can still access to standard, but your academic request is still in review,

It usually takes a week but can take a bit longer. I’m sure you will hear shortly, but let me know if you don’t hear in a week or so.
