Hi @jessicagarson ,
I made my application for acedemic research on the 20th of December, 2022. And I have veen waitting for almost three weeks but received no reply. I also didn’t receive any email for further information. I am quite worried about whether my academic project can go well. Could you help me check if anything went wrong in the whole process?
Many thanks in advance.

I don’t think this is the answer that you want to hear, but you’re not alone. There have been quite a lot of this sort of topic opened lately.
If I was in your position, I might consider filing second application using your academic advisor.
What does that mean? Can you kindly explain? Is there a way to created another application?
@SyedMSawaid Sure.
It seems that it is important for Twitter that the applicant have a Google Scholar account with a publication.
If you do not have a publication, you might not pass.
Your academic advisor can apply for academic access. If the application is accepted, they can share access with you.
For reference, here is my Google Scholar account:
Very minimal. A single publication from 10 years ago, on which I’m the second author, and in an unrelated field. Nevertheless, Twitter was satisfied.
Good luck, and please do let us know how things work out.
Admins, these seems to be a hot topic at the moment. It might be useful to write up a sticky thread to inform academic applicants. I can contribute
