For the player I use sublimevideo.net
In my live environment I see the play/pause controls, but twitter team does not. Also when testing with the new validator I see the buttons as well.

Can anyone review this, suggest a solution?

Twitter support team says:

Thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that play/pause controls are not showing when testing your Player Card in Twitter’s live environment.

I’ve just had a look, and the player itself on the web doesn’t show any controls unless I right-click over it and choose “show controls” (although this may be a Chrome feature, I’m not sure).

My 2 test environments are:
Chrome + OSX 10.10
Safari + OSX 10.10
