After the tip from Japantravelmate, I was able to squeeze down the iframe for my Twitter button to the old size. It cuts off the last ‘t’ a little bit, but at least the button fits.
I used this in my Style Sheet:
/* Tweet button width hack */
#twitter-sharer iframe {
width: 55px !important;
}
You will, of course, need to find your own ID for where your twitter button is, as it most likely is not #twitter-sharer.
