Validator successful, card request rejected?

After validating our app for the Player Card, with all meta tags in place. Validator was successful but after, Twitter got back to me and my request for the player card was rejected per policy, specifically:

“Do not build end-to-end interactive experiences inside the video or audio player unrelated to Player Card content, such as the following: purchasing, gaming, polling, messaging, and data entry. Instead, build these interactive experiences with our other Card types or enhance your Player Card content with links to your website or mobile application.”

1. We do allow purchasing but outside of the website as a (purchase link).
   ex: https://twitter.com/foobar050692/status/540082051118923776
2. We do make our users log-in with twitter and tweet out a message to participate.
   Similar to a simple “share” button to twitter/facebook/email…
3. We do collect data but so do these guys

Now I’m not quite sure what I’m missing here… Are there special cases for this? Do I need to have it approved differently? Any help would be much appreciated…

I clicked both of the tweets, and I can see the cards show up, can you try them from your end?

Hi @marcseifert, you should correct any issues that are violating the terms of service and resubmit. The two examples you provided may have been changed after approval and and may currently be violating the terms of service.

Thanks for bringing these to our attention. I can’t say whether these two examples are indeed violating any terms, but I will forward these two examples to our Cards approval team for review.
