Validate card not working - Fetching the page failed because other errors

I’m getting this error when attempting to validate a twitter card from my web site.

“Unable to render Card preview LOG: ERROR: Fetching the page failed because other errors.”

I have the robots.txt file allowing twitter bot . i.e -

User-agent: Twitterbot

Here’s the meta data I’m using on the page:

<meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image" />
<meta name="twitter:site" content=“@azpropertyPROaz” />
<meta name="twitter:creator" content=“@TroyElston” />
<meta name="twitter:title" content=“Top Peoria AZ Realtor - Troy J. Elston” />
<meta name="twitter:description" content="Troy Elston - a top Realtor in Peoria Arizona who buys and sells homes in Phoenix. Read Testimonials, learn about how Troy Elston can find you a home" />
<meta name="twitter:image" content="" />

Please let me know what the issue could be?

What’s the link you’re trying to validate?

Hi. It’s

It looks like there’s a connection problem from our crawler to your site - not sure what is causing it, could your host be blocking Twitter IPs?

There’s additional info including our ASNUM range information on our troubleshooting page. At the moment, that’s my best guess as to what is going on.

I just made another inquiry to my host. I know the the robot.txt is good.
And htaccess is good too. I sent a trouble ticket to Hosting 24.

Hello Andy:
Just wanted to update everyone so they can be helped by this issue. The hosting company was just lazy I guess. I asked them to verify that Twitterbot was not blocked over 22 hours ago and they said it was not. After your last message, I resubmitted a trouble ticket to the host asking them to white list the IPs belonging to twitter. Everything seems to work for now. For those who get the LOG: ERROR: Fetching the page failed because other errors message while attempting to validate a card, please check your code and INSIST that your host is straight up with you about their white listing of Twitterbot IPs .

I asked for the following IP addresses that belong to Twitter to be white listed on my host server:

Also, Twitter’s ASNUM is AS13414.

Don’t forget to make sure your robots.txt are correctly configured and is in ASII text format. AND for Pete’s sake don’t work with lazy host tech support guys. LOL. Good luck

Hi , I have the same issue , but i don’t know whats happening exactly , @andypiper could you test my link , please? This way I will try to execute the best solution.
