Use of deep-linking URLs from App Cards in an iOS app (TwitterKit)

The Twitter documentation for App Cards discusses deep linking and encourages you to make a custom URL scheme:

https://dev.twitter.com/cards/mobile/url-schemes

I am using TWTRComposerViewController with a card configuration (TWTRCardConfiguration). But where exactly do I put my custom URL? TWTRCardConfiguration doesn’t seem to have a place for it. Nor does my “app page” on apps.twitter.com… Is the URL supposed to go into the tweet text itself??
