We have a Wordpress site. We are a local news site that publishes new articles daily.
When I test our articles’ URLs in the validator, I get this:
*.bayview-news.com is whitelisted for summary card
Log
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 17 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully
But, if I put our homepage URL (http://www.bayview-news.com) in the validator, I get this:
Unable to render Card preview
Log
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 13 metatags were found
WARN: Not whitelisted
Odd?
2nd question…If an article doesn’t have an image, is it possible to show our logo instead of twitter’s generic placeholder?
