The Standard access to the API Limits the monthly tweet usage to 500k a Montag. I would like to increase that limit. I sah the Premium subscription has a Limit of 10 Million tweets a month. But then there is a rate Limit of 500 requests a month. At 500 tweets per request, that is just 250k tweets a month. Less than for Standard access. Please explain.
The Premium API Premium search APIs | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform /1.1/tweets/search/30day/..json or /1.1/tweets/search/fullarchive/...json has a monthly limit on the number of calls to the API, this is the Dashobard on https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/subscriptions
The v2 API Search Tweets introduction | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform /2/tweets/search/recent has a 500,000 result limit for v2 endpoints only, and this is the dashboard on https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/dashboard
Hope that helps!
Not really. Let me put this another way: If I upgrade to a Premium account and pay 169$ per month, I get 500 requests per month? Is this correct? That would be half the number of tweet compared to free. Why should I Upgrade.
Sure, as long as it’s clear they are two separate systems, totally different APIs.
And yes, I also agree that the Premium API pricing makes no sense, especially now with v2 API. However, Premium API full archive is the only way to get older tweets without academic access, so that’s what you’re paying for.

Ok yea, thanks
That pricing is interesting to say the least. 169 $ for 500 requests, that’s 3 $ per requests. Honestly I just could not believe I understood that correctly. For comparison, with my for other APIs you get 100.000 request a day at 50 $ a month. Not querying tweets obviously but just the scope of the difference. I mean I am just shocked regarding that pricing.
