Targeting end of July, we plan to reduce the maximum supported web attribution window from 90 days to 30 days for 1st party data. This change is being made to align with the industry standard. We expect minimal impact as the vast majority of web attributed results occur within the first 30 days.

As a result of this change, you will no longer be able to create Web events with a 60 or 90 day click-through attribution window. Attempting to create events via the web_event_tags endpoint with a 60 or 90 day attribution window, via the click_window and/or view_through_window fields, will result in an error.

Key Notes

  • This update will affect results reporting data for both new campaigns and historical campaigns.

  • There will not be any impact on actual performance as, even after this change, Web actions may still occur beyond the 30 day attribution window.

Existing campaigns with a 60 or 90 day attribution window will automatically be converted to the new 30 day attribution window.
