Unknown API error code

Hi,

I am looking for help because I am getting a 349 error code saying “You cannot send messages to this user” when trying to send DM to a follower via the API (https://api.twitter.com/1.1/direct_messages/events/new.json
).I can’t figure out why I can send DM to this specific follower, and this error code is not documented.

I find out that this is because this user requires to be followed as well in order to received DM.
It might help in the futur to get this documented here:
