Its been a year since I am facing this problem. The twitter profile display pic or twit pic have gone blank. All the profiles I follow including mine have broken twitter picture. I checked with different web browsers on mac and windows OS. It sometimes seems to work but soon when you refresh the page it stops showing profile pictures or pictures shared. Please look into the matter.
P.S: Its happening even before twitter changed the page design recently.
