Unable to sign into dev.twitter.com

Hey team,
I just created a twitter account (username : sblog_flownet ) and am able to use it fine on twitter. However, I am not able to use this account to login to dev.twitter.com. Do I have to wait for a while, before I can create applications using my new account?

To be able to login to dev.twitter.com, an account must have a verified e-mail address. When you created that account, you must have received an email with a link on it. Clicking on that link should verify your e-mail.
