“Unable to render Card preview” in the card tester

Hi there,

Twitter Cards on my website are hit or miss. It is a website hosted via Webfaction with Wordpress as CMS. When I publish an article manually, the summary card with large photo shows up. When I schedule a post, the summary card doesn’t show up.

I’ve used the Validator and for a scheduled post, the validator times out;
ERROR: Fetching the page failed because the request timed out.
But for a manually published article at the same time and same server has no issues and works perfectly.
Example:

• http://houseofduck.com/120/donald-duck-fore-feathers/
  scheduled and failed for the summary card and the validator times out

• http://houseofduck.com/117/donald-turns-house-mouse/
  manually posted, summary card with large photo shows up and validator works

That first link, loading via curl -A Twitterbot http://houseofduck.com/120/donald-duck-fore-feathers/, seems to load in “chunks” - very slowly. I’m not sure why that would be the case. Is there some caching going on?
