Unable to embed a hashtag list of tweets

I’m trying to embed a list of tweets from a hashtag: #notatiste18

I use the publisher tools to grab the embed code, but it only shows a button instead of the tweets. The embed code seems to work great for embedding an author’s tweets, but not for a hashtag. Any thoughts?

The ability seems to have been eliminated with the deprecation of widgets:

I can’t understand why they don’t think it was popular.
