I’ve been trying to use the Team / Invite User function, but I have been getting the error message below for the past 24hrs.
Error sending invitation
Invitation failed to send, please try again later.
What can I do to be able to use the team functionality?

There are several reasons why an invitation might fail. Our team is currently reviewing this process and will be implementing improvements sometime soon.
In the meantime, we suggest you to hold tight. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have the same problem here

FWIW - I’m still in the state where I can’t invite the other devs to the team, so it’s not a transient issue.

Same issue here, i was able to add 1 user, then i went and tried to add another and got this message. Just for troubleshooting, i removed the first user i added and now the resulting state is an inability to add any new members to the dev account / team.
Any update from support on this? Seems like a pretty big issue.

I have the same problem,
I work for a company and I have to do a development associated with Twitter and they have not been able to add me as a member due to the same error mentioned here.
Any info about it?

@jessicagarson It looks like the issue is persistent, and seems like more people are also having this issue. Could you give us a quick update on where things stand at present?
In case it helps diagnose, if I look at JS console when i’m hitting the invite button, my page gets back a 400 on a POST to /api/accounts//users/invite
Thx!

Thanks for this follow up. This is a longer standing issue we are aware of, and we will be considering making changes in the future as we are in the midst of launching the future of the Twitter API.
You can check out our product roadmap here and follow us at @TwitterDev for product updates. If you have any feature requests or feedback please let us know via our feedback channel.
Since we are aware of this issue, I’m going to mark this as closed for now.
