Twitter won't decline requests

Hi, so I have 10 requests. When I go to the page that lists those that want to add me, I click ‘decline’ but when I refresh the page, those 10 are still in my request box and still says I have 10 requests. I’m a bit OCD and this bothers me. Can someone help?

hm, problem solved by accepting request then blocking users, i guess!

I am also having this issue so it’d be nice to see an actual fix

SIMPLE SOLUTION:

Open in a new browser tab the profile of the candidate follower. Choose from that small menu button the option BLOCK. That always works The candidate follower is blocked and automatically DECLINEd follow.
