Twitter widget ignoring data-chrome attributes

I have the following (note i removed the widget ID):

But for some reason the data-chrome attributes are being ignored.
Is it still possible to remove the footer and borders using data-chrome? The docs still say it is, but i cant seem to get it to work.

I just had a quick try with your code (just changing the widget id) and the footer was properly hidden.
What browser and platform are you using?

I tried it in chrome and firefox, latest version of each.
I’ll have another look at see if i’m going something silly my end.
